Hi There,
Coming up, I have several sound performances, a walk for Elastic City, and I did the video design for an Alyce Finwall Dance Theater performance. I hope that you can make it out to one or more of these events! (in NYC, SF, and MA). MAY 5-7th EVENFALL Alyce Finwall Dance Theater @ The Joyce Soho, NYC 155 Mercer St. 8pm http://www.joyce.org/joycesoho/ Alyce Finwall Dance Theater collaborates with composer Carson Whitley and video artist Andrea Williams on "Evenfall". Created as part of RAW (Resident Artist Workshop) at the Garage Theater in San Francisco, Evenfall investigates femininity, innocence, identity and nakedness, through raw movement, improvisation and theater; a surreal and ever-changing world of explosive movement and intimate emotions come to life. "Evenfall" features eight powerful women, Julia Hollas, Emmaly Wiederholt, Joy Prendergast, Emily Jones, Madelyn Biven, Maggie Stack, Kaitlin Parks and Malinda Lavelle. MAY 14th Mobile Geography Performance Series SleepWalks Holyoke, MA 9pm-9am Andrea Williams and Lee Pembleton perform SleepWalks, an overnight sound performance, in Holyoke, MA. SLEEPWALKS explores the impact of sound on dreams by playing to a sleeping audience who then journal about their experience in the morning. Our goal for this long-term project is to create soundwalks for dreamers. MAY 21-22nd ________Walk for Elastic City @ 82 East 42nd Street, NYC inside Grand Central Terminal, meet at Track 24 3pm and 6pm Please RSVP your spot here!: http://www.elastic-city.com/walks/walk What you may already know is that Grand Central Terminal is a classy Beaux Arts building with 75-foot windows, a massive marble staircase, and a star-studded ceiling. For _________Walk (whose name will be revealed during the walk), Andrea Williams will lead pairs through listening, whispering and creating public art together in this exquisite container of secrets. We will experience the sensual grandeur of a time-stretched and slowed down walk amidst the urgency of travel and motion. This walk holds 12 people. http://www.elastic-city.com/walks/walk

I performed as part of LA artist, j.frede's wine-glass drone ensemble last night. The performers were spread out among the amazing architecture of the UC Berkeley Art Museum. More on this soon...
